Executive Portfolio Team
Joseph is a junior in the Rutgers Business School majoring in both Finance and Accounting. He has been involved with SMF since his freshman year and currently serves as a Portfolio Manager for the Rutgers Student Managed Fund. In addition to SMF, Joseph is a member of the Road to Wall Street Program and is an Executive Board Member of LIBOR. Since his time at Rutgers, Joseph interned at the wealth management boutique Borger Financial Services from freshman through sophomore year then subsequently at Prudential Financial in their Investment Operations group his sophomore summer.
Karn is a senior at Rutgers majoring in Economics and Biomathematics. He has been involved with SMF since his freshman year, and currently serves as a Portfolio Manager for the fund. Karn is also a member of the Rutgers Federal Reserve Challenge Team as well as the Rutgers Economics Society (RECONS), and is on the Executive Board of LIBOR. Since arriving at Rutgers, Karn has interned at WBB Securities, a biotech Equity Research firm, as well as CIT Group, where he worked in risk management. Karn also completed an equity research externship. Most recently, Karn worked at Citi as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst in their FSG group.
Chris Kapasakis is a junior at Rutgers University majoring in Economics and minoring in Computer Science. He is actively involved in both LIBOR and has been in SMF ever since the first semester of his freshman year. He is also currently employed at two financial planning firms during the school year where he provides financial planning analysis services to low and high net worth clients. When Chris is not working or studying, he enjoys playing pool, biking, and boxing.
Saaketh is a senior in the Rutgers Business School majoring in Finance, Computer Science, and Mathematics. He has been involved with SMF since his freshman year and currently serves as a Senior Analyst for the Fund. In addition to SMF, Saaketh is the President and Co-Founder of RU Valuating, represented Rutgers in the CFA Institute Research Challenge as a sophomore, and serves as an Honors Program Peer Tutor and Peer Mentor. Saaketh interned at Millennium Info Tech and WBB Securities during his freshman summer, before working at Blackstone as a Valuations Summer Analyst during his sophomore summer.
Matt Lee is a senior in the Rutgers Business School studying Finance and Economics. He joined the Rutgers Student Managed Fund during the fall semester of his sophomore year and is interested in pursuing a career in equity research after graduation. Matt interned at a startup in New York City as a business development intern and at Merrill Lynch as a Global Wealth & Investment Management summer analyst. In addition to his studies, Matt is an avid soccer fan and enjoys watching the Modern Family TV series.
Marion is a senior in the Rutgers Business School (RBS) majoring in Finance and minoring in Geological Sciences. She has been involved with SMF since her sophomore year and currently serves as a Senior Analyst for the Industrials sector. In addition to SMF, Marion is an Executive Board Member of LIBOR and RU Valuating, part of the Women‘s Business Undergraduate in Leadership Development (BUILD), and an RBS peer mentor. In addition, Marion is currently interning for Prudential’s Chief Investment Office on the Capital Markets Hedging team. Prior to her time at Prudential, Marion also interned for Johnson and Johnson in Corporate Internal Audit and for The Hndrd Foundation as a Project Manager.
Marcus is a senior in the Rutgers Business School majoring in Finance and Meteorology. His work experience includes internships at Dow Jones and Citi. He has also spent time conducting climate change research with the Rutgers Institute of Marine and Coastal Science. His research has been published by Western Water Assessment. In addition to SMF, Marcus is president of the Rutgers Bass Fishing team and a DJ on 90.3 the core.
Ravi is a senior at Rutgers majoring in Finance and minoring in Computer Science and Economics. He has been involved in SMF since his freshman year and now serves as a senior analyst for the Student Managed Fund. In addition to SMF, Ravi is the Director of Alumni Relations for LIBOR and the Vice President of Scholarships and Awards for Delta Sigma Pi.
Max Spector is a junior in the Rutgers Business School, majoring in Finance and minoring in Mathematics, in addition to considering an Economics minor. He has been involved with SMF since his freshman year and has been independently investing for just as long. In addition to SMF, Max is an involved member of LIBOR as well as participating in the Bender Trust Fund project. Since his time at Rutgers, Max has pitched companies independently and in coordination with various teams. He enjoys running, swimming, and strategy games.
Matt Styczynski is a senior in the Rutgers Business School majoring in Finance and minoring in Economics. He has been involved with SMF since his junior year and currently serves as head of Industrials. In addition to SMF, Matt is involved with mentoring younger students who aspire to work on Wall Street. Since his time at Rutgers, Matt interned at a boutique wealth management firm focusing on asset allocation for high net worth clients. He most recently interned at Morgan Stanley where he worked as a summer analyst. In his spare time Matt likes to workout, play basketball, or hang out with his friends.
Tessa is a senior in the Rutgers Business School double majoring in Finance and Economics with a minor in Statistics. She has been involved in SMF since her sophomore year and currently serves as a senior analyst. In addition to SMF, Tessa is also a member of LIBOR, Membership Development Chair of Alpha Kappa Psi, and was the captain of the Girls Club Volleyball team last year. Outside of Rutgers, Tessa is extremely passionate about snowboarding.
